Kim Engineering, Inc. provided the construction stakeout for the new 176,000-square-foot Kaiser Permanente administrative building in the New Carrollton Transit Center in Prince George’s County. The facility will be the new home for approximately 850 employees that will include a retail component on the first floor, healthy on-site dining choices and a fitness facility, as well as a parking garage. Kim Engineering Inc. recovered existing horizontal & vertical controls and established additional controls on site as required. Surveying stakeout services were provided that included: rough grading, sewer/storm drain lines, curb & gutter, retaining walls, building pad and foundation, stormwater management, final grade and brick points.
