Position Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records through creating proper accounting entries and reconciling accounting records


  • Maintains the general ledger chart of accounts
  • Create, post, and reconcile journal entries
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Dependable record of attendance and timeliness
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • At least two years’ experience as a bookkeeper or accountant
  • Experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standards
